As part of its commitment to making people’s lives better through convenient and simplified banking, MyBucks Malawi will merge some of its branch operations in Mzuzu, Limbe and Gateway Mall by 22nd June, 2020 in order to streamline and optimize its branch network, following the acquisition of Nedbank Malawi.

According to the Bank’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr Bernard Mkandawire; the branch mergers have been made in order to enhance customer experience and assured all customers of a smooth transition.

“The bank is set to merge operations of two branches currently running side by side at Gateway Mall with the Ex-Nedbank Branch. Similarly, in Limbe, two branches that are currently located right opposite each other along customs road, will have their operations merged with the Ex-Nedbank Branch.  In Mzuzu, the MyBucks branch at Kentam Mall will be merged with the Ex- Nedbank branch along the Mzuzu Highway Road” Mkandawire said.

Mkandawire emphasized that the bank meticulously planned the merger of these branches by ensuring that the merged branches operate in more spacious and modern banking halls that will offer unparalleled customer service and experience.

“I urge our customers to take note of this change and be assured of our  continued commitment in providing   exceptional service and longer banking hours in the locations which will be new to some clients” he said.

With the recent acquisition, the bank is now present in Blantyre, Lilongwe, Mzuzu, Zomba, Mangochi, Dzaleka, Kasungu, Mponela and Madisi.
